Hi Friends,
It’s back to school next week for us. I’m shook.
Didn’t expect summer to just fly by like that, but here we are.
Today I have 3 super easy 5-ingredient dinners for you for those busy nights, and a shorter email because I’m busy filling out school paperwork (17 forms…with twins…34…eek), anyone else?
Beef dip sandwiches - this one is actually from my cookbook. It’s so good and easy, just throw into a slow cooker in the morning and then in the evening you’re all set
Baked chicken Parmesan pasta this one you literally put ingredients into a baking dish and pop it in the oven, that’s it! So good and easy!
Chicken gnocchi with alfredo pesto - made in one pan and so delicious!

On the blog this week
Love List - In this weeks Love List you’ll find 27 questions to ask your child besides “how was school”, a kitchen gadget you didn’t know you needed and SO much more!
Weekly meal plan - The weekly meal plan, with customizable shopping list.
5-Ingredient parmesan pork chops - super easy and great with a side salad
Personal stories
We tried out a pizza place with the kids and they loved it (Mod pizza)!
We also continue to find new parks with the kids and explore surrounding towns and neighborhoods on the weekends.
After dinner we’ve been trying to take family walks around our neighborhood!
Weekend reads
Seems like everyone (including myself) is reading (and loving) Tom Lake: A Novel “In this beautiful and moving novel about family, love, and growing up, Ann Patchett once again proves herself one of America’s finest writers”
Reader comment
Thank you for this. It is delicious and so easy to make! My kids and hubby loved it and I will definitely add to my repertoire of meals. We ate as lettuce wraps and rice on the side.
