Easy recipes and Sam's trip to the ER
Hi Friends,
As this message reaches your inbox, we’re on the road to St. Louis! Oh how I love technology that makes this possible. This year Ben had spring break one week and the twins another. It’s been fun, but I’m also ready for schedules to fall back into routines. We’re going to St. Louis for vacation, just a weekend, and to visit my friend Jodie who owns the bar and venue The Heavy Anchor. Any St. Louis tips/recommendations?
Here are 3 recipes to make with only 5 ingredients, hope you love them!
5 Ingredient salmon sheet pan meal - so tasty, one of my fave sheet pan meals

5 ingredient honey mustard chicken - simple yet super flavorful, it’ll become a favorite!

Personal stories
Sam gave me quite the scare by falling off a log while we were at a nature center and got bloody cut. It was big enough to where it needed some professional attention so we took him to the ER. Thankfully my sister-in-law was with us so she took the older 3 home and dropped us off at the ER (thanks Nina). He was such a champ, didn’t even cry or fuss while they were giving him stiches. He got 4 stiches. They have these personnel called ‘Child Specialists’ who come and read them books and distract them. The woman recognized me from when I was in a few weeks ago with Frankie lol. Hopefully we’re done with ER visits for a while. My stomach always drops and I feel nauseous when my kids are hurt. At the end they gave Sam a popsicle and he was all smiles.
During one of our play days, the kids wanted to wear their halloween costumes
We had a lovely Easter. First we visited my parents in Chicago for an overnight (bottom right is me and my 3 sisters and mom), and then we had dinner at Nicks parents. The kids loved the Easter egg hunts at both!
