On the blog this week
In this weeks Love List I share a super cute pair of wide leg ankle jeans I found, a bunch of sourdough tools restock, a protein drink that actually tastes good and an affordable face serum (the one I used to use was $198- I know, crazy, and this one is $58 and has amazing before/after pics and reviews).
I shared a recipe for one pot lamb meatballs with rice. It can be made with ground beef, chicken or turkey. It’s sooo yummy and all made in one pot!!
Why You’ll Love This Recipe
One pot wonder: Less dishes, less mess—everything cooks together in one pot.
Versatile protein options: Don’t have lamb? No problem! This recipe works just as well with ground beef, chicken, or turkey, and the cook time remains the same.
Incredible flavor: The Mediterranean seasoning, lemon zest, and feta bring a burst of flavor to every bite.
Perfectly balanced meal: Protein, carbs, and greens all in one dish.
Personal stories
Wow, what a week, it just flew by!!
Row 1: Valentines. Yellowtail sushi is the best! Galentines date with Frankie (we went to Storyhill BKC, they have a really great kids menu surpringly) and a pottery class on Valentines day with Nick at Cream City Clay (a Christmas present from my MIL)
Row 2: Sam got into the Fun Dip from the older 3s class Vday presents and was just covered in green, and it stained his skin lol. Then we went to look at wall paper for a family room project we want to work on, we want a statement wall. We were thinking something mural like with wallpaper. I don’t know that we LOVED anything. I just don’t like birds (have you heard about our woodpecker problem? We had to get a permit to have a company set traps. A year later and now I have to renew the permit because they’re still present, pecking huge holes in our siding). Anyway, lots of statement wallpaper is birds? Odd. We brought Freddie and Sammy with us - the other 2 were at playdates-they had fun kids wallpaper for kids to look at. The last image is something we both liked, but again, I don’t think we loooved it. I’m thinking we’ll just go with a really bold wall color? It’s still in the air. We’re going to turn our play room into our family room and get the changing table out of there - that’s what we’re waiting on, for Sam to be potty trained so we can get rid of the changing table and then hang a large tv on the wall.

“So easy and tastes amazing! I’ve made this multiple times now after finding this recipe in your cookbook years ago, and searching online to find it again. My kids especially love it!”
