I can’t believe the clipped pace at which summer is wrapping up and just around the corner (in 2 weeks to be exact) is back to school! AHHH! Right now the kids are watching a little Bluey (cutest show ever) and I’m working on this newsletter, so excuse any typos as I get interrupted for the tenth time for snacks. What I’m looking for with back to school is quick and easy meals (my specialty) and snacks the kids will love.
Breakfast - I make waffles ahead and then have them in the freezer ready to go. Our two favorite waffles are these eggless waffles and these zucchini waffles
Dinners - these dinners are all 5 ingredient ones!! That much I can handle on a school night.

Personal stories
We’re enjoying the last 2 weeks of summer by going to all the museums and parks nearby. We did the summer reading program at a library and as part of it the library gave us packets of coupons for free admittance to these places, so cool! We went to the Schlitz Audubon center and they have this lookout tower, I went up it and my legs hurt for the next 2 days, it was embarrassing lol
