Cooking slump? Here's a solution!
Sometimes you fall into a cooking slump, here are some suggestions for how to get out of it with lots of easy recipes and inspo!
Hi Friends,
Do you ever feel like you’re just in a cooking rut?! I go through phases where sometimes I am feeling so inspired and loving having fun in the kitchen and then there are days where I just know I have to use a trusted meal delivery service instead.
But, no matter how you’re feeling some of my favorite easy recipes to make are below:
Quick pickled eggs - I love these as a snack or lunch - on sourdough with some greens or on a salad with croutons/Parmesan cheese/caesar dressing
Honey mustard chicken - any meal that can go from the freezer into the slow cooker sounds like a super easy (and always delicious) meal to me.
Oatmeal cookie energy bites - these (or some version of energy bites) have become part of our weekly meal prep and it’s the best to have a healthy snack on hand for the kids. Plus, this is a no bake recipe!
But don’t forget….
It’s St. Patrick’s Day! I have to admit, we’re not a big St. Patrick’s Day celebrating family. Not a ton of Irish heritage here! But Bridget, on the SweetPhi team, always reminds me of how much fun that day can be (her maiden name is Gallagher, so plenty of Irish blood there). If you’re celebrating, here are a few recipes to make.
Weekend reading and other great things
Have you seen the show Outlast? Alyssa (from the SweetPhi team) recommended it in our most recent Love List and it looks so good!
Do you know what an affiliate link is? I know it can be confusing so I actually wrote a post about is. Anything you purchase through a link supports the SweetPhi business and I am so so appreciative!
In case you missed it on my stories this week, my friend @grandbabycakes has a new cookbook out and you must go get yourself a copy!
