Hi Friends,
Instead of it being cold and snowy, now it’s cold and icy! I almost couldn’t get out of our driveway the other day. How is the weather where you are?
Today we’re featuring/celebrating amazing granola. It’s flexible and can be made into granola (enjoyed with milk or over yogurt), into granola bark (it’s addicting and such a great snack) or into granola bars, great for on the go.
Big batch granola - so many flavor combination options

Personal stories
The kids aunty made shirts with them, they loved it!!
They’ve been playing so nice together, it makes my heart so happy.
Sam and I on one of our days together, he’s such a joy to hang out with.
Weekend reads
Did I mention I read The Burnout by Sophie Kinsella? It was cute, I’d give it a 4/5, I didn’t love it as much as I have some of her other books, but it was still good. “Sparks fly in this delightful novel about two burned out professionals who meet at a ramshackle resort on the British seaside—from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Party Crasher.”
Also read The Quiet Tenant - man, that is a dark book. A little too dark for me. I wouldn’t recommend reading it at night. If you’re into serial killers you’d enjoy this. “A pulse-pounding psychological thriller about a serial killer narrated by those closest to him: his 13-year-old daughter, his girlfriend - and the one victim he has spared.”
Now I’m reading Wellness by Nathan Hill and am enjoying it. “NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • OPRAH’S BOOK CLUB PICK • AN NPR BEST BOOK OF THE YEAR • The New York Times best-selling author of The Nix is back with a poignant and witty novel about a modern marriage and the bonds that keep people together. Mining the absurdities of contemporary society, Wellness reimagines the love story with a healthy dose of insight, irony, and heart.”
Reader comment
This is foolproof! It’s our go-to for friends with various dietary restrictions since it’s so customizable and it’s always a hit! We moved from western Canada to Atlantic Canada and miss our road trips down to Portland, OR, but this recipe helps keep the memories alive! Our east coast friends love the Tali Sauce! Thanks so much for this great recipe! It’s always a winner!
