No Time? No Problem: 7 Meals for Sports Season….here’s to the weekend
Easy dinners for practice nights, game days & everything in between
Hi Friends,
If you’ve got kids in sports/extra curriculars, you know dinner becomes a juggling act. At our house, one kid might have practice from 5:30 to 7, another from 6 to 8—it’s nonstop. We like eating dinner together, so we need something easy that everyone will actually eat. Today I’m sharing 7 no-time, no-problem meals that are saving us this season. They’re low-effort, filling, and perfect for those evenings when the schedule just won’t quit.
5 Ing chicken pitas - One of my all time favorite meals -you can make these with rotisserie chicken and you’re buying tzatziki and then all you have to do is cut up a cucumber and tomato!

Pizza!! We’ve found the best premade crusts called Pedone pinsa - it’s a Roman pizza crust, they’re so incredibly good, and then we just top it (here’s a list of pizza ideas) and dinner is done in under 10 minutes. I’ll be real with you, most nights it’s one of these crusts, pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese and oven, that’s it!

5 Ing BBQ turkey sloppy Joes - takes 15 minutes to make! Use leftover sauce in these 5 ing BBQ apple cheddar burgers. Sides for both I usually do frozen sweet potato fries or curly fries.

Cornmeal waffles - I make these waffles ahead of time and then freeze them. I heat them up in the toaster oven with chicken tenders/chicken nuggets (I like the chicken breast chunks from Costco) and serve it as ‘chicken and waffles’ with maple syrup.

5 Ing chicken gnocchi with alfredo pesto - this is a very low effort meal, start to finish 20 minutes.

The ultimate underrated meal is making a sandwich bar. Just serve with chips, no cooking required.

Beer Brats - cooking them in the Instant Pot makes having a meal on the table actually happen. We also do this with Italian sausages, just add a bell pepper and a jar of marinara sauce and then serve with mozzarella cheese.

High protein pasta salad - this is a true gem of a recipe, it can be made ahead and enjoyed during the week, it’s a great side option for a potluck too!

In this weeks love list I’m sharing my actual comfy heels find and our Mission Impossible marathon!
