Hi Friends,
With tomatoes in season, I thought I’d share some delicious ways to use them! Sorry for missing last weeks’ newsletter, I was on a mini vacation with my family and in-laws in the WI Dells. I thought I’d have some spare time to write it, but got wrapped up in the vacation and barely took out my phone at all (including barely any photos!). It was definitely a nice break, and kept me off of my mother in law’s bad list with her ‘no phones’ rule, the only downside of which is the afore mentioned barely any photos. Tomato cucumber salad - this is such a great side for any meal!
Grape Tomato Tarts - These little tarts are so yummy, they’re actually one of Nicks favorite recipes I make!
Watermelon salsa - so refreshing and great for summer get togethers. Chips and salsa, yum!
Peach and tomato panzanella - when peaches and tomatoes are in season there’s nothing better than this incredible salad

Oatmeal chocolate chip bars - These bars are so so good, it’s like an oatmeal cookie and a chocolate chip cookie had a baby in bar form, so delectable! The kids loved them, they make for a great back to school snack!
Personal stories
We went to the Wisconsin Dells where we stayed at the Aloha Beach Resort, an amazing place we’ve stayed at before and a place that my in-laws have a long history of staying at. It was wonderful. We went to the Dells last year and it wasn’t as fun, I think with the kids getting a little older (they’re still super young at 7, 5, 5, 2.5). We went on a train tour, a boat tour and a horse drawn wagon tour and lots of swimming. All around it was so fun!
