St. Patrick's Day food for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Hi Friends,
Can you believe it’s St. Patrick’s Day this weekend? I’m sharing some green food and St. Patrick’s Day themed ideas for you:
Green smoothie - start your day with this vibrant green smoothie, made with pineapple, mango, spinach, kale and banana.
Easy cucumber salad - this makes for a delicious green side for lunch or dinner
Corned beef pockets - these are such a fun (kid friendly) way to eat corned beef on St. Patrick’s Day - they’re filled crescent roll pockets.
Corned beef and cabbage - the best way to cook corned beef and cabbage is in the slow cooker, low and slow for the most amazing St. Patrick’s Day dinner
Bangers and smashed potatoes - a fun take on classic St. Patrick’s Day recipe that your whole family is sure to love, it’s a meal of deliciously fried sausages topped with crispy onions and served with cheddar topped smashed potatoes.
Chocolate chip oatmeal stout cookies -delicious cookies made with oatmeal stout!
On the blog this week
Love List - In this weeks Love List I’m sharing about this amazing new beauty brand I discovered after my mom gifted me some, and asking your thoughts on large totes..
Weekly meal plan - the weekly meal plan is posted, it includes ideas for breakfasts, lunches and dinners and you can customize it and make a shopping list!
What I’m loving
Chomps - meat sticks, they’re convenient, healthy snacks, high protein and tasty flavors! I love that I can just throw them in my purse and go. I also keep some in my office desk drawer. And I love the Chomplings (mini ones) for the kids. Buy Chomps
Personal stories
This week Nick and I got to go on a date night with friends, we went to dinner and then the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. It was lovely.
The kids LOVE these things called scribble scrubbies, you draw on the little animals and then wash them off. All the kids love them, if you have kids or grandkids, I’d highly recommend.
Weekend reads
Finished reading/listening to These Silent Woods. WOW, this one was a 5/5 for me. The narrator is perfect for this book, soothing and narrating getting anxious beautifully.
Started Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers so far it’s cute, nothing earth shattering excellent but a fun story.
Reader comment
I love this recipe so much, it’s one I used to make all the time and am now going to make again, it’s a savory pie - think chicken pot pie, but black bean pie, yum!
I keep coming back for this recipe – it has become a family favourite!
