Easy dessert recipe with peaches - this one is the ultimate last minute dessert that’s crazy good. Sugar cookies, scoop of vanilla ice cream, peaches and sprinkle with cinnamon. YUM!

Everything I read and listened to in May - Wow- I read/listened to a total of 9 books this month, and there were 2 5-star ones!! I LOVED Carley Fortune’s new release This Summer Will Be Different, it was visceral, one could FEEL the characters and surroundings, it was so so good, highly recommend. The end of the school year with all the 1/2 days and activities has me yearning for a more solid schedule to be in place!
Top: Sam vs. a marshmallow - the marshmallow won this round lol, it was so hard to clean because right after this picture he got it in his hair. Ben was excited his school had an eat and earn fundraiser at Portillos.
Bottom: It just so happened there was a day where it was just Freddie and I, it was so nice, we had a fun day just the two of us. His fave thing? Not The Big Back Yard or restaurant with pancakes, no, a trip inside Walgreens lol. This is the kid who wrote on my mothers day card “my mom is best at taking me to Target” so I guess our shopping trips are really memorable and fun LOL.

Growing up, my favorite summer dessert was when my mom would mix Creme de Menthe into a tub of Cool Whip, and we'd use fondue sticks to dip cut-up summer fruits into it. (How 70's/80's is that? :) Looking back now, I'm like "Wait...there's alcohol in Creme de Menthe..." I turned out fine, though. ;)
